The company’s philosophy comes from our founder Ulrich Leysieffer and is still the mission and vision of our manufactory today.
Almost everything is still manufactured with traditional craftsmanship by master confectioners and assistants. We exclusively use high-quality, genuine, natural ingredients, and organically cultivated cocoa - and we do not use any artificial additives or preservatives.
Tradition and innovation.
As a family-run enterprise in the 4th generation, traditions play a major role at Leysieffer. It starts with the location. Our headquarters are and will remain in Osnabrück – even though we have made a name for ourselves on Sylt, as well as in Berlin, Hamburg, Dusseldorf and Munich.
We are also traditional and consistent when it comes to our product line. Axel Leysieffer once said: “We could offer more products, but not better ones.” Many Leysieffer products are genuine classics today. We are thus not interested in constantly identifying new trends to expand our product range, but rather in developing products that are so good they have the potential to become classics, such as our Himmlische, which have incidentally been available since 1950.
