Assortment of Himmlische and Cream Truffles with Marc de Champagne

In this special praline mix are our most popular classics in different versions. Our Heavenly in whole milk and dark chocolate and Marc de Champagne cream truffles - once in a white chocolate coating with a sugar crust and also in whole milk and dark chocolate coating with a creamy Marc de Champagne filling.

It is no secret that Leysieffer has high quality standards not just in terms of taste but also in terms of the attractive appearance of its products. The products should also be a "feast for the eyes". This is why we like to wrap our Himmlische pralines and cream truffles so that you can see them. We have to admit that there is a second reason behind this transparency, namely to tempt you with our Himmlische and these delicious cream truffles that we enhanced with Marc de Champagne.

 


According to history, our Himmlische owe their name to a priest from Osnabrück.

It was like a celebration for him every time he visited our little cafe in the heart of Osnabrück. Here the priest could let God be a good man and enjoy some earthly pleasures. He especially loved the tender, round and sweet ones. We’re talking about our classic pralines with their delicate creamy filling, which he found simply “heavenly” every time he tasted them. And as there is hardly a better description for them on the earth in our view, we took the priest’s word as the proverbial divine inspiration to rechristen them. That is why they have been named “Himmlische” since 1972, and as such are a kind of Leysieffer brand name that turned praline.

The heavenly thing about them is the heavenly things inside them. Since 1950.

It is their very special praline filling. It’s a truly secret recipe by Karl and Ursula Leysieffer dating back to 1950, about which we can only reveal the following: we dip these delicious pralines into a whole milk chocolate (sometimes into dark chocolate too) and finally refine them with a sugar crust. By the way: the Leysieffer Café, which the priest once regularly visited, is still there in Osnabrück’s Krahnstraße and the temptation is always worth a visit, just like our Himmlische.
